Task-System Analysis Using Slope-Parametric Hybrid Automata

چکیده
Slope-parametric hybrid automata (SPHA) are hybrid automata whose variables can have parametric slopes. SPHA are useful, in particular, for modeling task-control systems in which the task speeds can be adjusted for meeting some safety requirement. In this paper, we present an example of parametric analysis for a simple task system. We introduce a prototype veriication tool that fully automates the analysis.

Analysis of slope - parametric hybrid automataFr
This paper addresses the analysis of slope-parametric hybrid automata: nding conditions on the slopes of the automaton variables, for some safety property to be veriied. The problem is shown decidable in some practical situations (e.g. nding the running speeds of tasks in a real time application, for all tasks to respect their deadlines). The resolution technique generalizes polyhedral-based sy...

متن کاملUsing Interval Petri Nets and Timed Automata for Diagnosis of Discrete Event Systems (DES)
A discrete event system (DES) is a dynamic system that evolves in accordance with the abrupt occurrence, at possibly unknown irregular intervals, of physical events. Because of the special nature of these systems, different tools are currently used for their analysis, design and modeling. The main focus of this paper is the presentation of a new modeling approach of Discrete Event Systems. The ...
متن کاملImproving Agent Performance for Multi-Resource Negotiation Using Learning Automata and Case-Based Reasoning
In electronic commerce markets, agents often should acquire multiple resources to fulfil a high-level task. In order to attain such resources they need to compete with each other. In multi-agent environments, in which competition is involved, negotiation would be an interaction between agents in order to reach an agreement on resource allocation and to be coordinated with each other. In recent ...
متن کاملParametric Analysis of Hybrid Systems Using HyMITATOR
Hybrid automata are a powerful formalism for modeling and verifying hybrid systems, that combine continuous and discrete behavior. A common problem for hybrid systems is the good parameters problem, which consists in identifying a set of parameter valuations guaranteeing a certain good behavior of a system. We introduce here HyMITATOR, a tool for efficient parameter synthesis for hybrid automat...
